Charleston, which was a fairly sleepy town when we were growing up, is now filled with art, theatre and sporting events. There isn’t time to see and do all that our town has to offer!
Saida particularly enjoys the annual performance of A Christmas Carol put on by Charleston Stage Company. The play, which features both professional and local actors and the wonderful Charles Dickens story that puts us all in the holiday mood, will run from December 2 until December 20. One of Saida’s other favorite holiday traditions is attending the Spirituals Concert at Drayton Hall. An evening of listening to the centuries old beautiful ballads is a treat that shouldn’t be missed. The concerts this year are on December 5 and 6. For tickets and more information,call 843-769-2605.
