Charleston area home sales surpassed the national market in June due to the $8,000 federal tax credit that expires September 30th, 2010. Sales in June hit 1,022 transactions, the first time in three years. The tax credit combined with low interest rates and a large inventory of available homesĀ fuled the boost in sales.
